This passed two weeks for been a time of reflexion and sadness all at the same time.
March 11, 2019 My beloved father left this earth to be with the love of his life my mom. His journey has been filled with trials, triumphs, and Love. The reason love was capitalized was because, he not only Loved his family, but he loved everyone. He took time to share his faith and love for his Savior. He cared about ever individual that cross his path.
I will miss my dad, but I carry with him the opportunity to share his legacy with others. With this opportunity, I hope that my faith and love for others will bring a measure of peace to all my readers. Life is good, when you let the light in, instead of darkness. When we take each day and share gratitude to the Lord for the things he has given you. May you find your peace and Joy, amidst the sorry and gloom of this world. May you each find a glimmer of hope no matter the circumstances.
This past weekend I said goodbye to a remarkable man, my Father. Through out my life he has taught me to love God, and the Savior first. He has also taught me to give of myself to love his children. Through the years I have tried to do this. Now as I am in the Autumn of my life, Sharing my love and testimony with others has become easier.
I am not perfect in any way. I still have challenging days. Something the Lord has said over and over again, "Peace be unto your soul, for I am with you." He is also reminded me, to "Be still and know that I am God."These scriptures let me now that I am not a lone. That He is always with me. That angels attended me. That miracles are there if only I open my heart and eyes to see!
I make every day a day of Gratitude! I feel God's love close to me, this sustains me right now as I experience the loss of my wonderful father. I know that deep in my heart, he is happy where he is, and that he is with my mother. "Peace be Unto your soul, For I am with you!"
